Handles and optional avatars are publicly visible with player lists, rankings, match history, and pool participation. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Information automatically collected
In Short: OLeetle automatically processes limited connection, security, and gameplay-integrity information when you use the Services.
This includes the limited information described below: approximate region derived from connection information, short-lived hashed IP-derived security signals, and gameplay-integrity telemetry. It is used to operate matchmaking, protect the Services, and review integrity concerns.
The information we collect includes:
- Log and Usage Data. OLeetle records limited operational and integrity information needed to run and secure the Services, including connection gaps and the focus, fullscreen, paste-metadata, and aggregated editor-activity signals described in this notice. We do not use this application telemetry to collect raw keystrokes.
- Device Data. OLeetle does not independently collect hardware model, mobile carrier, device or application identifiers, or precise GPS location through the application. Our service providers may process standard connection data under their own privacy notices.
- Location Data. We may infer an approximate geographic region from your IP address to automatically select a matchmaking region. We do not collect precise GPS location data.
Google API
Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements . Google Authentication is used for OLeetle account creation. OLeetle receives a signed account identifier and email address to authenticate the account; public profiles use the handle and optional avatar chosen in OLeetle.2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We process the personal information for the following purposes listed below. We may also process your information for other purposes only with your prior explicit consent.
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:
- To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts. We may process your information so you can create and log in to your account, as well as keep your account in working order. We process it to create public profiles; select regions and form matchmaking queues; send submitted source code for execution and judging; calculate ratings and maintain match and pool records; prevent abuse; and review anti-cheat concerns. We also process submitted source code, code hashes, submission outcomes, match and rating records, pool participation, and integrity telemetry to run coding challenges and competitive play. Integrity telemetry includes focus and fullscreen changes, paste metadata, connection gaps, and aggregated editor activity; it does not include raw keystrokes. Moderators may review this information and derived account flags, which support human review and do not automatically ban an account.
- To administer competitions and fulfill prizes. We may process account information to administer prize-bearing pools, tournaments, and other competitions, determine and verify winners, contact winners, and arrange prize fulfillment. Where a prize is provided or fulfilled by a sponsor or other prize partner, we may disclose a winner's handle and email address to that party where reasonably necessary to verify the winner, contact them, and provide the prize.
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
- Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
- Service Providers. We may disclose personal information to service providers that process information on our behalf as necessary to host, maintain, secure, and operate OLeetle. Depending on configuration, these providers include Supabase for authentication, database, and public avatar storage; Vercel, Railway, and DigitalOcean for hosting or deployment; Piston for code execution; ipapi.co for IP-to-country lookup; and Cloudflare Turnstile for optional anti-abuse checks. Submitted source code is sent to the configured Piston execution service for judging.
- Prize Sponsors and Fulfillment Partners. For prize-bearing pools, tournaments, or other competitions, we may disclose a winner's handle and email address to the sponsor or prize-fulfillment partner identified in the applicable Official Rules where necessary to verify the winner, contact them, or arrange delivery or fulfillment of the prize. We do not provide participant or winner contact information to sponsors for their independent advertising or marketing purposes unless you separately consent to that use.
Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Google login). Where you choose to do this, we receive the signed account identifier and email address needed to authenticate your account. OLeetle does not use a Google profile name or profile picture to create your public profile.
We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this Privacy Notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. We recommend that you review their privacy notice to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information, and how you can set your privacy preferences on their sites and apps.
6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). Submitted source code is cleared by scheduled retention cleanup after completed judging or invalid processing. Public-run source code and results are cleared after the run completes, fails, or expires. Raw integrity telemetry is deleted after seven days, and operational audit events after 90 days. Account, match, rating, and derived integrity-flag records are retained while the account is retained, subject to deletion requests and legal, security, or fraud-prevention needs.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. We redact submitted code, authentication tokens, and cookies from application logs. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.
